What is the structure of the product?
The Henderson Horizon Fund is an open ended investment company incorporated in Luxembourg as a société d'investissement à capital variable (SICAV) on 30 May 1985. The Henderson Horizon Fund is a collective investment scheme which allows investors to pool their investments with other investors to create a portfolio of assets.
When is the price at which I buy or sell shares determined?
Prices of Shares are calculated each Business Day by the Administrator, usually by 6.00 p.m. Luxembourg time, using a valuation point of 1.00 p.m. Luxembourg time, and, for the Global Technology Fund, the American Smaller Companies Fund, the American Equity Fund and the Global Sustainable Investments Fund, of 4.00 p.m. Luxembourg time. If extraordinary market conditions require, the Directors may decide to postpone the valuation point to any time after 1.00 p.m. Luxembourg time and, for the above-mentioned Funds, to any time after 4.00 p.m. Luxembourg time.
The Administrator adopts a ‘forward pricing’ policy, which means that the price at which Shares are bought or sold (exclusive of any initial charge) is calculated at the valuation point following receipt of the order. This means that it is not possible to know in advance the price at which the deal will be struck.
Fund prices are available on Reuters and Bloomberg, and in a number of international publications. Performance is also monitored and analysed by independent agencies such as Lipper Analytical Services and Morningstar.
What rights do I have to cancel any purchase?
Once you have bought your shares, you have no right to cancel the deal. However, you can sell your shares back to us on any business day in Luxembourg.
What currencies are acceptable?
You may buy or sell shares (and arrange to receive dividends) in any major currency, including US dollars, UK Sterling, Hong Kong dollars and Euro. However, it should be noted that the cost of conversion is borne by the investor.
What are the fees and charges?
Please refer to the
Prospectus for information on fees.
How will I be paid my income?
Dividends for the Bond Funds (save for the Absolute Return Fixed Income Fund where only Accumulation Shares are available) are paid quarterly. Dividends for the Equity Funds are paid annually. Please refer to the Full Prospectus for full details.
How do I follow the progress of my investment?
We will send you a statement showing all your holdings in the Henderson Horizon Fund as at 30 June and 31 December each year. The report and accounts (both annual and semi annual) for the Henderson Horizon Fund are available on request or via the website. Prices of the sub-funds are published daily in the Financial Times and other leading financial papers. As our pricing policy is forward, these prices should be treated as indicative only.

Disclaimer
It is important to remember that share prices and returns will vary according to political, economic and market forces. In particular, emerging, smaller, specialist and technology markets may be vulnerable or volatile due to government intervention, taxation, changes in regulation, less reliable settlement and custody practices, lower market liquidity and less reliable reporting. These factors result in generally higher risk levels which should be considered carefully before investing. The effect of these factors can be reduced but not eliminated by careful diversification and a willingness to make a longterm investment decision. We believe that there is great opportunity for investors willing to accept these risks.
