European Focus Fund

Fund performance will be primarily derived from stock selection. Stock selection is based on an opportunistic approach with a flexible methodology on stock capitalization and growth/value orientation. The Portfolio Manager follows a ‘growth at a reasonable price’ philosophy, with a focus on investment opportunities which seek to maximize absolute returns irrespective of style. Country and sector allocation decisions are driven by the stock selection process. The Fund is managed by Stephen Peak.


Global Equity Income Fund

This Fund seeks to achieve a high level of current income and, as a secondary objective, steady growth of capital. Under normal circumstances, the Fund invests primarily in a portfolio of income-producing equity securities, such as common and preferred dividend-paying stocks. The Fund primarily seeks to identify companies with attractive long-term business prospects that generate cash and produce attractive levels of dividend income, and which are undervalued relative to other similar investments. The Fund may also seek to enhance the level of income it receives by engaging in a dividend capture strategy. The Fund is managed by Job Curtis and Alex Crooke.


Global Opportunities Fund

This Fund seeks to achieve long-term capital appreciation primarily through investment in equity securities of US and non-US companies. The Fund employs a process that combines a bottom-up approach to individual security selection with a strategic asset allocation process. Security selection will be based upon an analysis of a company's valuations relative to earnings forecasts or other valuation criteria, earnings growth prospects of a company, the quality of a company's management and the unique competitive advantages of a company. The Fund is managed by Manraj Sekhon.


Global Technology Fund

This Fund seeks to achieve long-term capital appreciation primarily through investments in common stocks and related securities of US and non-US technology-related companies. We define technology-related companies as those companies that suggest rapid and sustainable growth potential from the development, advancement or use of technology to improve their business processes and applications. The Fund is managed by Ian Warmerdam. Stuart O'Gorman provides advice on the Fund to Mr. Warmerdam. The team evaluates companies and their potential investment returns based on theme, sector and stock specific characteristics that are driven by bottom up factors rather than on geographic regions.


Industries of the Future Fund

This Fund seeks to achieve long-term capital appreciation through the investment in equities of companies that contribute to a sustainable and responsible global economy. The managers use a process that combines multi-thematic, top-down analysis with a bottom-up approach to individual security selection. Investments are made in themes identified as ‘Industries of the Future’, which are based on sustainability trends and challenges, including: Cleaner Energy, Environmental Service, Health and Sustainable Transport. The investment themes may change over time to reflect new research findings and new investment opportunities. The Fund is managed by Tim Dieppe


International Opportunities Fund

This Fund seeks to achieve long-term capital appreciation primarily through investment in equities of non-US companies. Fund performance will be primarily derived from stock selection. A strategic asset allocation process will be a secondary contributor to the investment process. The Fund is managed by a team of Portfolio Managers. The Asset Allocation Strategists, Iain Clark and Bill McQuaker, oversee the management of the Fund and the allocation of the Fund’s assets among countries, regions and sectors. Individual members of the team manage the Fund’s investment in specific countries, regions and sectors.


Japan-Asia Focus Fund

This Fund seeks to achieve long-term capital appreciation primarily through investment in equities of Japanese companies and secondarily through investment in equities of other Asian countries. The Fund employs a process that combines a bottom-up approach to individual security selection with a strategic asset allocation process. Security selection is based on an analysis of a company's valuations, earnings growth prospects and unique competitive advantages. The Fund is managed by a team of Portfolio Managers. US Focus Fund

This Fund seeks to achieve long-term capital appreciation primarily through investment in equity securities of companies domiciled in the US. The Fund is managed by a team of Portfolio Managers who use a bottom-up investment process. The Asset Allocation Strategist, Robert Villiers, oversees the management of the Fund and the allocation of the Fund's assets among regions and sectors. The two teams of Portfolio Managers focus on investing in companies undergoing positive fundamental or special situation changes. They view these companies as attractive potential investment opportunities as they may offer unique and potentially superior investment opportunities.

Effective November 30, 2006 the U.S. Core Growth Fund changed its name and certain investment policies and became the US Focus Fund.  The Fund’s historical performance may not represent current investment policies.


Worldwide Income Fund

This Fund seeks total return through current income and capital appreciation. The Fund invests in securities across a variety of fixed income sectors including international investment grade corporate and government debt, international high yield debt, emerging market debt, US government and corporate debt. The Fund may also invest in dividend-paying international equities. The Fund is managed by John Pattullo and Jenna Barnard.

Effective May 19, 2006, the Henderson Income Advantage Fund changed its name, investment objective, and policies and became the Henderson Worldwide Income Fund. The Fund's historical performance may not represent certain investment policies.
